Yesterday I took my 4 year old grandson to Toys R Us to buy a toy. I headed towards the trucks and he headed towards the housewares – WHAT!!!!! The conversation went something like this:
Me: Don’t you want a truck?
Him: I want a vacuum cleaner.
Me: Don’t you want a truck?
Him: I want a stove
SMH. Later that day I pulled out the Chap Stick to put on his lips and he backed up and looked at me as if I had pulled out the glossy red lipstick – WHAT!!!
“Things” don’t make the child, they just like what they like. So what if he never embraces the “boy” stuff or she hates “Barbie.” Don’t Judge them!!!!!! Vive la Difference!
